Itinerary

Day 1: Overnight flight
Board your overnight flight bound for Dublin. Your adventure begins tomorrow, so sit back, shut your eyes, and count some Irish sheep—the Emerald Isle has almost 4 million of them.
Day 2: Arrive in Dublin + Welcome Dinner
Welcome to Dublin, Ireland’s capital, where the culture is richer than Kerrygold, Guinness flows like the Liffey, and the locals make it nearly impossible not to feel right at home. You’ll also find that this city is super walkable, so once you arrive and drop off your bags, take a stroll to St. Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, and Temple Bar, the intersection of pub culture, literary history, and all-around charm.
In the evening, enjoy the first authentic Irish meal of your trip! Hosted by your Tour Director, this Welcome Dinner is all about meeting your fellow travelers, swapping stories, and easing into the rest of the trip ahead.
- Land at the airport and meet up with your Tour Director and other travelers in your group.
- Transfer to your hotel to check in and check out your room.
- Get to know your group and your Tour Director at an included Welcome Dinner.
Day 3: Guided sightseeing in Dublin + Guinness Storehouse + optional night out with a local
Founded over 1,000 years ago by Vikings, Dublin comes from the Irish Dubh Linn, or “black pool” in Irish. From its Nordic roots to literary legends like Jonathan Swift, Bram Stoker (and Sally Rooney, obv), and the city’s pivotal role in gaining independence from Britain, Dublin’s history is as rich as its lively streets. Today you’ll see the best of Dublin with a local guide, including a visit to the famous Guinness Storehouse.
- Join your local guide for an insider tour of Dublin.
- Enter Christ Church Cathedral, known for its striking medieval architecture and vast crypt, Christ Church has stood at the center of the city’s religious life for nearly a thousand years, offering a powerful glimpse into Dublin’s Viking and Norman past.
- Visit the Guinness Storehouse with your Tour Director for a crash course in the history of Ireland’s signature beer. Then, let it all soak in high above Dublin with pints at Gravity Bar.
- Enjoy an included fresh pint of Guinness the proper way so you can truly taste all the malty goodness: sniff the aroma, take a sip, let it sit on your tongue for a few seconds, then swallow.
St. Patrick’s Cathedral: Visit the 800-year-old church named after Ireland’s patron saint who brought Christianity to the country in the 5th century. And yes, he’s THE St. Paddy honored every March 17.
Jameson Distillery: Switch things up all the Guinness for some of the stronger stuff with a guided tour and whiskey tasting at the Jameson Distillery Bow St.
Book of Kells: Head to Trinity College for a chance to see the Book of Kells—a pristine 1,200-year-old illustrated collection of biblical stories—up close.
Day 4: Travel to Galway via the Cliffs of Moher
Say goodbye to Dublin and hello to Galway, a city famous for live music, street performers, and art shows. It’s also the birthplace of the iconic Claddagh ring, so if you’re in the market for the perfect Irish souvenir, Galway is the place to get one! On the way, stop at the Cliffs of Moher for breathtaking views of the coastline.
- Travel west from Dublin to Galway aboard your private coach.
- Gawk at the Cliffs of Moher—limestone walls of rock that dominate the coast for five miles and rise to staggering heights of 700 feet.
- Spot puffins on the cliffs, if you’re lucky enough to be there during their breeding seasons between late March and early August.
- Arrive in Galway and take it all in with a walking tour through the city, seeing iconic spots like the River Corrib and Galway Bay.
Day 5: Free day in Galway or optional Aran Islands day trip
Decisions, decisions. You’ve got a free day in Galway today, and you can either spend the time seeking out the coziest pub or exploring the rugged and absolutely breathtaking Aran Islands.
Eyre Square: The end of the rainbow in Galway leads to Eyre Square—a bustling center of shops, cafes, and art, though no known pot of gold sightings—yet.
Irish coffee: Vodka Red Bull’s Irish cousin packs a caffeinated punch of coffee with either whiskey or Bailey’s. Please enjoy responsibly.
Women-owned cafe: If you opt to go to the Aran Islands, make sure to visit Teach Nan Phaidí, a fantastically cozy women-owned cafe, for some tea and a sweet treat.
Day 6: Travel to Northern Ireland via Giant’s Causeway & the Titanic Museum
It’s time to go big—really big. Like Giant’s Causeway big. Some (scientists) say this unique geological formation is result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption; others (everyone else) believe that an Irish giant by the name of Finn MacCool built it—so he could fight a Scottish giant. Either way, it’s a stunningly beautiful spot to watch the crashing sea. After your visit to Giant’s Causeway, you’ll arrive in Belfast for time to explore the Titanic Museum.
- Head up to the end of Northern Ireland via bus to see the Giant’s Causeway—on a clear day you can see Scotland from here.
- Walk among the nearly 40,000 basalt rock columns of the Causeway.
- Arrive in Belfast and pass by the infamous dockyards where the Titanic was built over one hundred years ago, then explore the Titanic Museum to see the exhibits and learn more about the doomed ship.
- Enjoy a free evening to grab dinner and dive into Belfast after dark.
Day 7: Travel to Edinburgh, Scotland via Cairnryan
It’s Scotland time! It’s capital city, Edinburgh, is an enchanting labyrinth of narrow alleyways, cozy pubs, and storybook castles, but first, you need to get there.
- Board your ferry in Belfast and cross the Irish Sea, stopping in the coastal town of Cairnryan for lunch on your own.
- Continue by bus to Edinburgh, check into your accommodations, and enjoy a free evening in the city.
Day 8: Sightseeing in Edinburgh + free afternoon + optional bagpipe demo & dinner
If a city could be your coziest sweater, Edinburgh would be it. Cobbled streets, medieval architecture, and a towering castle make way for vibrant squares and lush parks, making the city feel like one giant hug. Today you’ll dive into Scottish history and modern-day life with a guided sightseeing tour of Edinburgh.
- Visit Edinburgh Castle to see the Scottish crown jewels and Stone of Destiny, a coronation stone for monarchs.
- Walk the Great Hall and see the armor, swords and medieval decor that line the walls.
- Visit the Elephant House Cafe, where the first Harry Potter book was written.
Arthur’s Seat: Visible from pretty much everywhere in the city, this extinct volcanic peak is a relatively easy hike with a killer view.
Old Town: Walk the winding streets lined with everything from candy-colored shops to local pubs to souvenir shops.
Ghost tour: Edinburgh’s is one of the most haunted cities in Europe, allegedly. Book a graveyard tour and let a guide in a cape mess with your sleep schedule.
Day 9: Free day in Edinburgh or optional Scottish Highlands day trip
Take a day to explore Edinburgh your way. Get your Gothic architecture on, hit the pubs, or try and figure out what exactly haggis is.
Vintage shopping: Thrifting in Edinburgh is top tier. Check out Armstrong’s, or a number of the other must-visit boutiques and charity shops around the city.
Whisky tasting: Scotch is the national drink, so consider this a cultural event. Pop into a tasting room on the Royal Mile and pretend you can tell the difference between a 12-year and an 18-year.
Day 10: Travel to London
You’re ending your trip in London, the Big Smoke, where history is out-steeped only by all the tea, where palaces meet pubs, buzzing streets border famous parks, and buses are two stories tall. In the tale of art, food, and culture, London has serious main character energy, and you’re about to find out why it’s one of the most visited cities in the world.
- Hop on your train bound for London for three full nights and plenty of time to do your own thing in the UK’s capital city.
- Enjoy a free afternoon and evening to explore.
Hyde Park: Wander the largest of London’s four Royal Parks where you’ll see gorgeous gardens, Serpentine Lake, and the Princess Diana memorial fountain.
Notting Hill: Check out the colorful homes of this eclectic neighborhood known for the Portobello antique market and annual Carnival celebrating the area’s Caribbean roots.
Day 11: Free day in London or optional English countryside day trip
Whatever puts the vinegar on your chips is on today’s agenda. London’s 607 square miles, so there’s like...a hundred million things to do. Parks, museums, shops, restaurants, pubs—the city is yours. You could also choose to escape the city and wander storybook villages straight out of a romcom on an optional day trip to the English countryside.
The British Museum: Discover over 2 million years of human history at this free museum. With over 8 million objects and counting, it is one of the largest and most comprehensive collections in existence—so don’t expect to see it all.
Westminster Abbey: This historic, royal church is the traditional place of coronation and burial for British monarchs. The mainly Gothic façade leads to a gorgeous array of paintings, stained glass, and artifacts.
Day 12: Guided sightseeing in London + free afternoon + Farewell Dinner
You’re in Western Europe’s largest city, home of the royal fam, afternoon tea, and a dessert called Spotted Dick. Follow your local guide as they take you all around town and give you the inside scoop on London’s iconic palaces, churches, castles, and a big old clock.
In the evening, it’s time for your Farewell Dinner to relive the best stories, the funniest inside jokes, and all the unforgettable moments you’ve shared.
- Dive into thousands of years of London’s secrets with a local guide.
- Immerse yourself in London’s rich history at gorgeous landmarks from the Tower of London and St. Paul’s Cathedral to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament.
- Experience a royal ritual during the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace.
- Wave hello to Big Ben, which is actually the bell inside the clock tower, not the entire clock tower.
Brick Lane: Winding through the East End, this vibrant street is chockablock with cool shops, markets, and all the curry you can possibly eat.
Shakespeare’s Globe: Hark! Make haste and get thee to the old Globe Theatre, an Elizabethan playhouse where the Bard’s works were (and are) performed.
Day 13: Fly home
Cheers, mates!
Your next destination awaits—home. But this isn’t goodbye. It’s “See you later.” The only question is, where?
